The Role:
We are recruiting for an IPS Employment Specialist to support individuals facing barriers into sustainable employment across the Borough of Wyre
This is a rewarding, person-centred role where you will manage a varied caseload, providing tailored one-to-one support to help individuals build confidence, develop skills, and secure meaningful work. Youll take a proactive approach, working closely with local employers to identify opportunities and support customers throughout their journey into employment and beyond.
This role would suit someone with a background in recruitment or employability who has a genuine passion for making a positive difference.
The role involves:

• Managing a caseload of customers, conducting detailed assessments to identify strengths and barriers to employment
• Creating personalised action plans aligned to individual goals and career aspirations
• Supporting customers with job search activities, CV writing, interview preparation and skills development
• Building confidence and independence through regular engagement, coaching and goal setting
• Engaging with employers to identify suitable opportunities and promote candidates
