This Engineering Team Leader position is with a well-known FMCG manufacturing site near Boston that is investing heavily into automation, engineering improvements, and site modernisation.
The Engineering Team Leader Role
Leading and coordinating shift engineers
Planned and reactive maintenance
Supporting continuous improvement projects
Driving engineering standards and uptime
Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload
Supporting apprentices and developing engineers
Working closely with production teams
Managing contractor activity on site
Supporting shutdowns and project work
Monitoring downtime and recurring faults
Engineering Team Leader - What They're Looking For
Food, FMCG or other manufacturing engineering backgrounds
Leadership or supervisory experience
Multi-skilled electrical engineering experience
Fault finding experience on production machinery
Planned and reactive maintenance competency
Strong communication skills
Experience using CMMS
Health & Safety awareness
