Job Title: English Teacher Location: Surrey Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day Job Overview: Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified English Teacher for full-time, long-term positions and day-to-day supply work across Surrey. As an English Teacher, you will inspire students to develop strong literacy, communication and critical thinking skills. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress and collaborate with colleagues to support academic achievement. The ideal English Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS. Early career teachers are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons. * Develop students' reading, writing and critical thinking skills. * Assess and monitor student progress in English. * Collaborate with other English Teachers and wider school staff. * Support school academic goals and exam preparation. Requirements: * QTS or QTLS certification. * PGCE or equivalent qualification. * Passion for teaching English. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Early career teachers are welcome to apply. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply. * Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.
