English Subject Lead (with Teaching Responsibility)

We are looking for an exceptional English specialist to lead a whole-school approach to English, literacy and oracy—from primary through to sixth form—in a specialist setting where inclusion, ambition and relationships sit at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

This is a key leadership position with a teaching commitment. You will:

• Lead and develop a whole-school vision for English, literacy and oracy
• Ensure a coherent, ambitious curriculum from primary to post-16
• Take responsibility for a phase of the school (aligned to experience)
• Inspire and develop staff through coaching, modelling and high-quality CPD
• Use assessment intelligently to drive progress and outcomes for all learners
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic development

You will play a central role in raising standards through outstanding teaching, curriculum leadership and strong collaboration.
