ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
We are looking to appoint a proactive cleaner to deliver a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff. As an ABM cleaning operativeyourTomaintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all external areas of the shopping center, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, litter-pick, and wash external walkways, entrances, car parks, and communal areas.
- Emptyand clean external bins and replace liners as needed.
- Removechewing gum, graffiti, and other stubborn stains from surfaces.
- Cleanexternal signage, bollards, benches, and other fixtures.
- Monitorand report any hazards, damage, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Assistwith seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance, snow/ice removal, and pressure washing.
- Supportwith event setup/cleanup and other ad hoc duties asrequired.
- Followhealth & safety procedures andwear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintaincleaning equipment and report faults or supply needs
