Environmental Protection Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Councils Environmental Protection Team. We are looking to recruit an Environmental Protection Officer. You would be working within the busy Environmental Protection Team and will be responsible for statutory duties related to Statutory Nuisance, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, Environmental Permitting and planning and licensing consultations. You will be responsible your own case load, dealing with complaints, inspections and enforcement. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and confident individual with drive and determination to join our Environmental Protection Team. The role will be both office and home based and will be working across the whole of North Northamptonshire. A good, overall standard of education to A level or equivalent standard. Experience of working in an environmental health or similar regulatory role is desirable.
