The Role...

If you're at your best out on site, talking to engineers, challenging decisions, spotting risks before they become problems and rolling up your sleeves to put things right, this could be the role for you.

We're looking for a hands-on and experienced field-based Environmental Advisor to help us deliver environmental excellence across our civil engineering projects. This is not a desk-based sustainability strategy role. It's about being present, visible and influential where it really matters - out on site.

You'll be supporting projects through design, construction and reinstatement, ensuring we stay compliant, minimise impact and continuously improve how we work.

Here are some of things you'll be involved with...

• Out on site undertaking environmental assessments and producing practical, workable environmental management plans.
• Working directly with operational teams to ensure works meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Carrying out inspections and audits in line with ISO 14001, permits and environmental legislation — identifying issues early and driving corrective action.
