Equipment Technician - Semiconductor Manufacturing Location: Northamptonshire (Rural Location) Salary: Up to £40,000 + 35% Shift Allowance Hours: 40.3 hours per week | Continental Shift Pattern (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off) Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Equipment Technician to join a leading advanced manufacturing facility specialising in high-performance semiconductor technology. Working within a cleanroom environment, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting complex wafer fabrication and epitaxy equipment used in the production of cutting-edge optoelectronic devices. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience looking to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Previous semiconductor experience is highly desirable, but engineers from aerospace, defence, automotive, pharmaceuticals, power generation, oil & gas, or Armed Forces technical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. The Role You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting continuous production through planned preventative maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis.
