With a strong international presence and a people-first culture, they are now looking for an experienced Employee Relations professional to join their UK HR team to play a pivotal role in supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, governance, and compliance across the organisation.


The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ER Lead to take ownership of complex and high-profile employee relations matters within a prestigious, fast-paced organisation. Working closely with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and senior business leaders, you'll lead on a broad range of ER and workplace investigation matters, helping to protect the business whilst ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.


This role would suit someone who thrives in a specialist ER position and enjoys navigating complex cases, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving best practice across the employee lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases across the UK business.
  • Conduct sensitive workplace investigations, including matters relating to misconduct, discrimination, harassment, ethics and conflicts of interest.
  • Provide expert Employee Relations advice to managers, HR colleagues, and senior stakeholders.
  • Produce detailed investigation reports and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams on high-risk employee relations matters.
  • Support the management of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other employee data-related matters.
  • Review and enhance ER policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with UK employment law and evolving best practice.
  • Identify trends and insights from ER activity to support business improvement and reduce organisational risk.
  • Deliver training and coaching to managers and HR teams on ER processes, investigations, and employment legislation.


More about You

  • Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations casework within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelines.
  • Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and managing high-risk ER matters.
  • Experience advising on issues such as misconduct, grievances, discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, and performance management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent report-writing, analytical, and decision-making capabilities. xwzovoh
