ESOL Tutor - Halton Prospero Teaching are looking for experienced ESOL Tutors to provide personalised tuition across Halton! The Opportunity We are seeking supportive and enthusiastic ESOL Tutors to work with learners who require additional support with their English language development. You will deliver individualised sessions focusing on speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst helping learners develop the confidence to use English in everyday situations. Lessons will be tailored to each learner's current level and individual goals. Position Details: Location: Halton Position: ESOL Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications: Applicants should ideally have: Previous experience delivering ESOL or EFL tuition CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, QTS, PGCE or equivalent Strong communication skills Experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds A patient and adaptable approach to teaching To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references Apply Today If you're passionate about helping learners develop their English skills and become more confident communicators, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
