ESOL Tutor - St Helens Prospero Teaching are searching for enthusiastic ESOL Tutors to deliver personalised tuition across St Helens! The Opportunity We are looking for experienced ESOL Tutors to support learners in developing their English language skills through personalised 1:1 tuition. You'll help learners develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst supporting them to become more confident using English in everyday situations. Sessions will be adapted to suit each learner's current level, needs and individual goals. Position Details: Location: St Helens Position: ESOL Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications: Applicants should ideally have: Previous experience delivering ESOL, EFL or English language tuition CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, QTS, PGCE or equivalent Excellent communication skills The ability to adapt lessons to different abilities A supportive and encouraging teaching style To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references Apply Today If you enjoy helping learners develop their English language skills and gain confidence, we'd love to hear from you.
