Estates Officer

Were looking for a reliable, customer-focused Estates Officer / Street Warden to join a busy housing team based in Newark . Youll act as the eyes and ears of the council across local estates , carrying out inspections, engaging with residents and reporting issues to help keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and well managed. Key duties: Estate and neighbourhood inspections Engage with residents and report concerns Identify repairs, ASB, fly-tipping and environmental issues Check communal areas and vacant properties Litter picking and minor DIY/maintenance Maintain records and escalate issues What were looking for: Customer-facing experience Reliable, dependable and comfortable working outdoors Good communication and community engagement skills Practical/DIY ability Full UK driving licence and confident driving a van What's on offer: £20£22 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend Company van provided Immediate interviews and quick start Location & Travel The role is based in Newark and involves travelling across estates and neighbourhoods in the local area .
