Estates Surveyor - Local Authority Hampshire £450 per day Full-time | Rolling Contract | Flexible Working An established local authority in Hampshire is looking to appoint an Estates Surveyor to join its property team on a full-time, rolling contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional to take responsibility for a varied and interesting operational portfolio covering leisure, education, culture and highways assets. The Role As Estates Surveyor, you will manage a diverse property portfolio and provide professional estates advice across the authority. Responsibilities will include: ·Day-to-day management of the leisure, education, culture and highways property portfolio ·Landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, rent reviews and negotiations ·Property management and general estate management activity ·Supporting acquisitions, disposals and other property transactions where required ·Undertaking negotiations with tenants, landlords and other stakeholders ·Providing professional property advice to internal service areas ·Managing competing priorities across a varied public-sector estate About You The successful candidate will have: ·Strong estates surveying and property management experience ·Good knowledge of landlord and tenant matters ·Experience managing a varied commercial or operational property portfolio ·Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills ·The ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision ·Previous local authority or wider public-sector experience would be advantageous The Offer The role is offered on a full-time, rolling contract at £450 per day, with flexible working arrangements available.
