Estimator - Electricity Transmission & Distribution   Location: Remote (London is where the client office is) Sector: Electricity Transmission & Distribution Projects: National Grid / High Voltage Infrastructure Contract: Contract - Inside IR35 Rate/Salary: £500 - £600 per day   We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to support the delivery of major electricity Transmission & Distribution projects, working across National Grid and high-voltage infrastructure programmes.   This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with experience in the power, utilities or energy sector to become involved in major UK infrastructure projects, including substations, HV cabling and associated civil and electrical works.   The Role   Working as part of the estimating and pre-construction team, you will be responsible for developing robust and accurate estimates across different stages of the project lifecycle.   Responsibilities will include:   ·Preparing detailed estimates for major T&D and electrical infrastructure projects ·Producing estimates from first principles across labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages ·Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation ·Undertaking quantity take-offs for civil and electrical works ·Supporting estimates for HV substations, cable routes and associ...
