We're working with a growing specialist manufacturing business operating within the construction and architectural products sector. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry experience who enjoys working with drawings, specifications, pricing and customers, and who wants to join a business where their experience and commercial input will be valued.

Description of the role:

• Review customer enquiries, drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations.
• Complete measurements and quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Use CAD to interpret and work with technical drawings.
• Calculate costs covering materials, labour, production, delivery and project-specific requirements.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to clarify project requirements.
• Obtain supplier, subcontractor and transport costs where required.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions and assumptions.
• Follow up quotations and support the sales process.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure quoted work is practical and achievable.
