Estimator - Construction Location: Sheffield (with occasional travel to surrounding sites) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Up to £55k Additional: Car allowance and company benefits scheme About the Role Our client, a construction specialist in both design and build, are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in refurbishment works and new-build commercial projects. You will play a key role in preparing accurate tenders, developing cost plans, and supporting the delivery of successful projects across South Yorkshire and the surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and project details. Tender for projects of varying values, from receipt of tender packages through to full bills of quantities. Produce logical, consistent pricing schedules and detailed cost breakdowns. Meet subcontractors on site to source labour, plant, and material rates while negotiating competitive quotations. Attend weekly site meetings and carry out site visits as required. Work closely with project management, site teams, design staff, and procurement to ensure accurate and coordinated tender submissions.
