Estimator - Joinery Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Estimator to join a growing projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience preparing accurate and competitive estimates. Working hours: Monday to Friday. Flexible start times as long as you are doing 40 hours a week. Key responsibilities Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents Preparing detailed cost estimates for labour, materials and subcontractors Obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Producing accurate and competitive tender submissions Identifying potential risks, cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams Maintaining accurate records of estimates, quotations and project information Supporting projects through the pre-construction and handover stages Monitoring market prices and maintaining up-to-date cost information Requirements Previous estimating experience within construction, fit-out, manufacturing or a related project-based environment Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and negotiation skills Good commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with estimating or project-management software would be beneficial What we offer Salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience The opportunity to work on a varied range of projects A professional and supportive working environment Opportunities for career development and progression To apply, please submit your CV along with a brief summary of your relevant estimating experience.
