Estimator

We're working with a highly respected large UK main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex, high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Mid-Level Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator who is ready to take the next step in their career, working on a varied portfolio of projects alongside an experienced and supportive pre-construction team. Estimator Roles & Responsibilities Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for a range of construction projects Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentation Producing accurate bills of quantities and pricing schedules Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Supporting the preparation of tender submissions and commercial reviews Working closely with the pre-construction, design and commercial teams Contributing to the development of project budgets and cost plans Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive and delivered within agreed deadlinesEstimator Requirements Construction related degree / qualifications 4+ years Estimating experience Worked for a main contractor across various sectors Proficient using estimating software & Microsoft packagesEstimator Benefits Negotiable salary Travel/car allowance Bonus scheme Good annual leave package Great pension & benefits Further progression & development opportunities Friendly & supportive culture Opportunity to work for a leading main contractor
