Estimator

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST7) Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client is looking for an experienced Estimator to support their manufacturing operations by delivering accurate cost analysis, product pricing, and quotation activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product data, supporting new product introductions, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across the business. Key Responsibilities * Produce accurate costings for new and existing products. * Generate quotations for both bespoke and standard products. * Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs). * Create and maintain product codes within the ERP system. * Maintain material, labour, and supplier cost databases. * Update product pricing and margin calculations. * Analyse engineering drawings and manufacturing processes. * Identify cost reduction opportunities and manufacturing efficiencies. * Collaborate with Designers to support Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles. * Maintain the accuracy of product and commercial data within the ERP system. Requirements * Previous experience in estimating, costing, or manufacturing engineering. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong communication and organisational skills.
