Freelance Events Production Manager | South Coast + UK Event Sites | September 2026 – January 2027 | Competitive Rate We’re looking for an experienced Events Production Manager to join an ambitious events team for a major winter delivery programme. This is a hands-on senior production role for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership from detailed planning and procurement through to site delivery and de-rig. If you love turning complex plans into brilliantly delivered events — and would rather be on site solving problems than sitting on the sidelines — this could be for you. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and wider Operations, Logistics and Warehouse teams to deliver complex temporary event environments across multiple UK sites. You’ll need to be comfortable coordinating multiple suppliers, managing changing priorities and making confident decisions when things don't go to plan. The successful Events Production Manager will be responsible for: Detailed production planning and critical paths Build and de-rig schedules Supplier procurement and negotiation Contractor and subcontractor management Production budgets and cost control Logistics, deliveries and site access Temporary infrastructure and site operations RAMS, production H&S and risk management On-site build and live-event delivery De-rig and site reinstatementThis is a hands-on role. When the builds begin, you’ll be on site, managing contractors, checking installations, coordinating deliveries, solving problems and keeping the programme moving. We’re looking for someone with significant experience producing large-scale outdoor, public or complex temporary events, the Events Production Manager will ideally have: Strong senior event production experience Excellent project management and attention to detail Experience managing complex builds and de-rigs Strong supplier negotiation and contractor management skills Commercial and budget management experience Excellent logistics knowledge Confidence leading on site A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach A genuine “get it done” mentalityMust be fleixble with working hours and the pay is DOE.  Most importantly, you’ll take ownership.
