EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) Location: Blackburn Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Start Date: September Join Our Early Years Team We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving children the very best start to their education and helping every child reach their full potential. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage. Deliver high-quality phonics sessions to individuals and small groups, supporting children to develop early reading and writing skills. Provide targeted support for children with additional needs, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they can fully access the curriculum. Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement strategies, interventions, and individual support plans. Promote children's confidence, independence, communication, and social development. Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments and learning journeys.
