We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedPodiatrist specialising in the High-Risk Foot and Diabetesto join our dedicated Podiatry team. This is an exciting opportunity for an advanced practitioner with a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients with complex foot pathology.

The post holder will support theLead Diabetes Podiatristin the coordination, development and clinical leadership of services related to the management of patients with high-risk foot complications. They will play a key role in ensuring that service delivery meets national and local standards, quality indicators and performance objectives.

As a specialist clinician, you will demonstrate expert knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management of complex diabetic foot disease and other high-risk foot conditions, contributing to improved patient outcomes and reducing the risk of ulceration, infection and amputation.

Support the Lead Diabetes Podiatrist in the clinical leadership and coordination of the High-Risk Foot Service.Provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex diabetic and high-risk foot conditions.Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in line with national and local clinical guidelines.Participate in multidisciplinary team working, contributing specialist advice to colleagues across healthcare settings.Monitor service performance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Support the development of care pathways and service innovation.Deliver education and training to podiatrists, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), General Practitioners and other health and social care professionals.Act as a clinical role model, promoting excellence in patient-centred care and professional practice.Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical audit, governance and research activities.
