Fabric Engineer Location: RG41 (Wokingham) Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday Are you an experienced Fabric Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a leading Facilities Management company? What's on Offer? * Up to £40,000 basic salary * Monday to Friday working hours * Overtime opportunities to increase your earnings * 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays * Company benefits package * Stable, long-term role on a static commercial site The Role You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric maintenance across the site. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard. Typical duties include: * General building fabric repairs * Carpentry and joinery * Basic plumbing repairs * Painting and decorating * Patch plastering and making good * Door, lock and ironmongery repairs * Ceiling and flooring repairs * Supporting small refurbishment and project works What We're Looking For * Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician, Maintenance Operative, Building Maintenance Technician or similar * A strong all-round building maintenance background * Experience working within commercial buildings or Facilities Management * Good knowledge of carpentry, basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance * A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable employer where your skills will be valued, we'd love to hear from you.
