Job Details:
Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour (Overtime available at time and a half)
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm & Friday 12:30
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Benefits: Free parking
Job Role: The Fabricator Welder will be responsible for carrying out both light and heavy fabrication work within a busy fabrication shop environment. Duties include MIG welding on structural and mild steel, working from engineering drawings, marking out and section cutting materials, and manufacturing items such as balustrades, handrails, and staircases. The Fabricator Welder will be involved in structural and architectural steel projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder in a similar environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working with structural steel
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
Previous or current welding codings
Additional Information
Overtime paid at time and a half
Working within a fabrication shop environment
