Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will assist with site security, minor repairs and maintenance, cleaning duties, setting up rooms and equipment, handling deliveries, and supporting school events. You will work closely with the Site Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school premises.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has practical maintenance and DIY skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Is organised, flexible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Is willing to work flexible hours, including opening and securing the site.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

A driving licence with D1 entitlement to drive a minibus would be advantageous but is not essential.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
