Our client based in Gloucester who are a non-profit organisation supporting mental and physical wellbeing of people in Gloucestershire, have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join their ever-growing team.
You will be responsible for management of the buildings across Gloucestershire, ensuring that they are properly maintained, clean and safe.
Responsibilities: - Management of the cleaners and caretaker who care for the buildings. - Maintain health and safety across all our sites. - Maintain the fleet of vehicles ensuring a good safe condition. - Liaise with the IT provider to ensure that requirements are met. - Assess the IT function and contribute to its future development. - Undertake tendering for facilities resources. - Maintain an environmental strategy and approach in relation to buildings and vehicles. - Liaise with funders, commissioners, and key personnel to manage programmes and projects. - Undertake best practice sessions with staff to enable development and continuous improvement. Candidate Attributes: - Excellent organisational and administrative skills - Strong communication skills at all levels - Computer literate (MS Office) - Excellent problem-solving skills
Hours:
Monday
Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary:
£30,000+ 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown (not taken out of your allocation)
