️🏭 🚨 We’re Hiring: Facilities Manager 🚨 🏭⚙️ 📍 Glasgow 💷 £45,000 – £47,000 🕒 Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager / Technical Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day facilities and engineering operations at a busy industrial site in Glasgow. 🏭 This is an excellent opportunity for a technically qualified professional with an Electrical or HVAC background who is looking to take ownership of site facilities, compliance, contractors and engineering operations. 🔧 What You’ll Be Doing: ⚙️ Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day facilities and technical operations across the site. 🔌 Overseeing electrical, HVAC, mechanical and building services across office and industrial areas. 🛠️ Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. 👷 Working alongside the on-site engineer and coordinating additional engineers and specialist contractors when required. 📋 Ensuring all statutory compliance, inspections, testing and maintenance records are kept up to date. 🦺 Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and ensuring safe systems of work are followed. 🤝 Managing relationships with contractors, subcontractors and service providers. 📊 Monitoring service delivery, KPIs and maintenance performance, taking action where required. 🏢 Ensuring the building fabric and facilities are maintained to a high standard. 🚨 Supporting emergency procedures, evacuation arrangements and site contingency planning. 💷 Assisting with budgets, quotations, procurement and service agreements. 📑 Producing management reports and maintaining accurate site documentation, asset registers and compliance records. 🔍 Proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improving site reliability, efficiency and service delivery. 📈 Supporting minor works and larger maintenance projects as required. 👨‍🔧 What We’re Looking For: 🎓 A recognised Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification, or equivalent apprentice-trained background. ⚡ Strong technical engineering background with hands-on experience in Electrical or HVAC systems. 🏭 Previous experience within Facilities Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or Building Services environments. 🔍 Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills. 👷 Experience coordinating engineers, contractors and third-party service providers. 📖 Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance. 💻 IT literate with experience using maintenance, CAFM or other facilities management systems. 📋 Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels. 🧠 Ability to work independently, take ownership and make informed decisions in a busy operational environment. ⭐ Desirable: ✔️ IOSH or NEBOSH qualification ✔️ BIFM / IWFM qualification ✔️ Experience managing service agreements and subcontractors ✔️ Knowledge of BMS and building management systems ✔️ Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment ✔️ Experience managing budgets, procurement and maintenance projects 💼 What’s On Offer: 💷 £45,000 – £47,000 Salary 🕒 Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 ⚙️ Technical leadership role with responsibility for site facilities and engineering operations 🏭 Opportunity to work within a technically advanced industrial environment 📈 Excellent career development and progression opportunities 🎓 Ongoing training and professional development 🔧 Opportunity to work alongside engineers and specialist contractors 🔒 Stable, long-term position with a leading Facilities Management provider ⚙️ If you're a Facilities Manager, Technical Supervisor or experienced Engineer with a strong Electrical or HVAC background and you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you
