A minimum of 12 months on your right to workA background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchenKnowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.This position is bank, so you will be required to work as and when requiredExperience working in a kitchen in a care home setting is essentialA day in the life of a Cook Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies .Kitchen Management -You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standardsAbout Agincare Agincare is proudly celebrating 40years of caring for communities.
