Factory Operative

We are recruiting GENERAL OPERATIVES for our client based in Swadlincote, DE11. This is working for a long-established manufacturing business that produce items for the construction industry! Shifts are permanent afternoons Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10.30PM & Friday 2PM - 8PM Rate of Pay £13.10ph - overtime opportunites available! Temp - Perm Opportunities after 13 weeks for the right candidates! Key Responsibilities: Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment - including press machines & industrial guillotine working across a number of departments. Loading and unloading materials safely Assisting with fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment Following all health and safety procedures Supporting team members to achieve production targets What We're Looking For: Experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and reliable attendance record Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required Benefits Long-term work with permanent opportunities Training Company events like, pizza days or ice cream vans
