FAIR Quality Inspector

FAIR Inspector Location: Havant, Hampshire (On-site) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30 Friday: 08:00 - 12:30 Join Our Quality Team We are seeking a detail-oriented FAIR Inspector to join our clients Quality department in Havant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and quality inspection processes who is looking to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 requirements Generate and maintain FAIR data packs using inspection software Review supplier FAIR documentation for compliance with AS9102 Manage FAIR schedules in line with production requirements Communicate FAIR completion status to customers Conduct dimensional inspections using calibrated measuring equipment Support wider inspection activities when required, including: Goods Inwards Inspection Repairs and Returns (incoming and final inspection) Final Assembly InspectionAbout You You will ideally have: Experience interpreting engineering drawings Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Good computer literacy and confidence using quality systems Experience with First Article Inspection processes (AS9102) desirable Knowledge of Net-Inspect and/or DISCUS software would be advantageous A methodical approach with excellent attention to detailApply Today If you are passionate about quality, enjoy working with technical documentation, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
