Family Solicitor

Location: Sandbach, Cheshire (hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000

Experience: 3 years PQE

Our client is looking to welcome an experienced, personable Family Solicitor into their team in a hybrid role based from their Sandbach office. This role will suit someone who is confident running their own matters, enjoys building trusted client relationships, and wants to be part of a department that is focused on quality, not shortcuts.

The Opportunity

You will join a well-supported team with hands‑on supervision and guidance from approachable Heads of Department who are genuinely invested in developing people.

You will manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including:

  • Divorce and financial remedy
  • Private children work
  • Cohabitation agreements
  • TOLATA matters
  • Injunctions
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing your own mixed private family caseload with a client‑first approach
  • Taking ownership of matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
  • Delivering consistently high standards of client care, communication and responsiveness
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting the continued growth of the department
  • Using internal systems and processes to keep matters running smoothly and compliantly

What we’re looking for

  • A qualified Family Solicitor with around 3 years PQE (or equivalent experience) in private family law
  • Strong experience across divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
  • A warm, approachable style that helps clients feel supported and confident
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach and pride in producing high-quality work
