We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Solicitor to join our dynamic Family Law team. This role offers the opportunity to undertake meaningful fee-earning work while contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Main Purpose of the Role

  • Manage and progress a caseload of Family Law matters, including both private and Legal Aid cases.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation from initial consultation through to court proceedings.
  • Support the firm’s development by delivering excellent client care and contributing to departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal matters on behalf of clients, focusing on various areas of family law, such as Domestic Abuse, Divorce, Property, Finance, Children and Care proceedings
  • Prepare and maintain case files to a high standard, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Attend and represent clients at court, providing advocacy where required.
  • Undertake work in additional areas of family law, including divorce, financial remedy matters, and care proceedings.
  • Participate in marketing and community engagement activities to promote the firm’s services.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law.
  • Essential experience in domestic abuse and children matters.
  • Ability to independently manage your own caseload with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-care skills, with the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients.
  • Additional languages are highly advantageous due to the diverse client base we serve.
