Senior Family Law Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (5+ years' PQE), Oakham

About the role

5+ years' PQE | Oakham, Rutland | £60,000 to £80,000 plus bonus | Full-time, part-time or consultancy | Hybrid working

Belderbos Solicitors is a specialist family law firm in the heart of Oakham, Rutland. Because we practise family law and nothing else, our lawyers offer clients a depth of expertise and care that general practice firms cannot match. We are committed to the Resolution Code of Practice and to resolving matters constructively wherever possible.

We are looking for an experienced family law solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to run a mixed caseload of finance and children matters, joining a close-knit team that puts client care first.

What you'll be doing

•     Managing your own mixed caseload of matrimonial finance and children matters

•     Supporting clients at every stage, from initial enquiry and first appointment through to conclusion

•     Representing clients at court yourself or instructing counsel, whichever suits your practice

•     Playing a part in the continued growth of the firm

What we're looking for

•     A solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE as a family law specialist

•     Experience across matrimonial finance and children work

•     Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic, client-focused approach

•     Training as a mediator or collaborative lawyer, or a willingness to train (we will fund it)

•     An existing professional network and business development experience are a bonus, not a requirement

What we offer

•     A salary of £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience, plus a generous bonus scheme
