Family Solicitor

Family Law Solicitor Location: West Midlands Working Pattern: Hybrid- typically 1/2 days per week in the office A well-established legal services organisation is looking to recruit a Family Law Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ or experienced Family Lawyer looking for a varied caseload, a supportive working environment and genuine flexibility, with just one/ two days per week required in the office . The Role You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, taking responsibility for your files from initial instruction through to conclusion. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied caseload of private family matters Advising clients across a range of family law issues Handling matrimonial finance matters Conducting negotiations and working towards positive outcomes for clients Drafting legal documents, correspondence and other relevant paperwork Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring all deadlines are met Working towards individual and team performance targets Providing a high standard of client care throughout each matter Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment About You The ideal candidate will have: Qualified as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (NQ - 4PQE) Experience handling privately funded family law matters Strong experience in matrimonial finance Experience working towards billing, chargeable time or performance targets Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organisation and attention to detail Good IT skills and experience using case management systems A client-focused and collaborative approach The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a Family Lawyer looking for flexibility and work-life balance , while continuing to develop their career within a supportive legal team.
