Family Solicitor

My client is seeking a specialist private family law firm with a strong reputation for practical, client‑focused advice in children and financial matters to join their team in Doncaster.

The Role

• Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters;
• Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre‑nuptial and post‑nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions;
• Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal;
• Supervising and developing junior staff;
• Supporting the wider family team;
• Attending networking events and assisting with business development;
• Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm.

Ideal Candidate

• Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered;
• Experience in both children and financial remedy matters;
• TOLATA experience is ideal;
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision;
• Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills;
• Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record;
• Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues;
• Willingness to network and assist with business development;
• Ambition to grow within the firm;
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office;
• A professional, organised and team-focused approach.
