About the Role
TSR Legal is working with a modern and growing regional law firm that is looking to strengthen its established Family team with an experienced Family Solicitor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with around 3 years’ PQE or more who wants to manage a varied private family caseload while benefiting from a genuinely flexible approach to working. The firm is open to hybrid arrangements and, for the right individual, a greater degree of remote working.
You will join a specialist team dealing with family law as one of the firm’s core practice areas, with strong systems and support allowing lawyers to focus on client work rather than unnecessary administration.

The role will involve:
- Managing a varied privately funded family law caseload
- Divorce and separation matters
- Financial remedy proceedings and matrimonial finances
- Private children matters and Child Arrangements Orders
- Cohabitation and separation agreements
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Advising clients through complex and sensitive family disputes
- Developing strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Supporting the continued growth of the Family department
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Ideally have 3+ years’ PQE within Family Law
- Have experience independently managing privately funded family matters
- Have strong client care and communication skills
- Be comfortable working independently within a supportive team
- Have a commercial and proactive approach to developing your caseload
