The Role

As a Family Lawyer OR Chartered Legal Executive, you will provide expert legal advice and representation across a range of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and domestic abuse cases.

We're looking for someone who is technology-focused, using legal software and case management tools to enhance client service, streamline workflows, and manage caseloads efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of family law cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution for clients.
  • Advising on divorce, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation issues, and child arrangements.
  • Representing clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including divorce petitions and consent orders.
  • Providing compassionate client support, guiding individuals through sensitive and often challenging situations.
  • Leveraging technology to improve case management, client communication, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborating with barristers, financial advisors, and other legal professionals to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the family law team.
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including networking and client retention efforts.

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Lawyer OR CILEX-qualified Legal Executive with family law experience, my client is flexible on PQE.
  • Strong expertise in divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and domestic violence cases.
  • A client-first approach, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and compassionately.
  • Experience using legal case management software to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A commercial mindset, with an interest in business development and networking.
