This role is perfect for an ambitious solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE, looking to further their career in family law. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and deliver high-quality legal advice across a broad range of family matters.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, and cohabitation disputes.
- Advise clients on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
- Support clients through mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes where appropriate.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
- Attend court hearings and represent clients as needed.
- Assist with business development activities and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 (+) years' PQE in family law.
- Experience handling a varied family law caseload with appropriate supervision.
