With a clear route to progress within a global organisation, this is a role you can grow into and grow with.Job ResponsibilitiesCarrying out scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machinery to minimise downtimeDiagnosing and resolving mechanical faults quickly and effectivelyReplacing, adjusting and aligning mechanical components to meet specificationConducting inspections and completing detailed service reportsProviding basic operator guidance to customers following maintenance visitsLiaising with the technical support team when additional expertise is requiredMaintaining your tools, equipment and service vehicle to a high standardTravelling to customer sites within your local patch, with minimal overnight staysBuilding your product knowledge through ongoing training and developmentEnsuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirementsSkills and ExperienceTo grow into a great Field Service Technician, you will need:A mechanical engineering background, ideally within maintenance or service rolesHands-on experience with machinery, lathes or other mechanical equipment, with CNC experience beneficial but not essentialGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyComfort travelling within a local patch and dealing with customers on siteA full UK driving licenceA professional approach with good communication skillsMost importantly, a genuine desire to learn and grow, as full training is provided and electrical or product knowledge is not requiredPay and BenefitsAs a Field Service Technician you will receive:Salary up to £30,000 depending on experienceOTE circa £37,000 with bonusesMonday to Friday, 39 hours per weekA company car (VW Tiguan or BMW X1)An annual company performance bonusA monthly bonus paid per machine soldUp to 6% matched pension contribution22 days holiday plus bank holidaysA comprehensive product and technical training programmeGenuine opportunities for career progression within a global organisationReady to apply?Field service is a career you can build for the long term, and this role gives you everything you need to do it, the training, the support and a clear route to progress within a global organisation. xwzovoh
