I am delighted to be working with an established organisation seeking an Interim Finance Director. This is a "sleeves rolled up" role, not just a board-reporting seat: you'll be expected to get properly stuck in alongside a strong existing finance team.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as trusted advisor to the CEO, Board and Senior Leadership Team, owning the FD-level agenda day to day
- Oversee reporting on trading KPIs, footfall and pricing through a major seasonal trading period
- Provide financial guidance and budget oversight on a significant capital project
- Support and lead the finance, working closely with a capable Finance Controller who manages month-end
- Contribute to financial planning, forecasting and budgeting using in-house systems
What we're looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior/FD-level interim experience
- Comfortable operating hands-on as well as strategically — this isn't a purely oversight role
- Charity sector experience useful but not essential
- Familiarity with Sage 200 or similar forecasting/reporting tools an advantage
Available for an immediate start
Onsite requirement is flexible — 3 to 5 days per week negotiable.
