Reed Accountancy & Finance are supporting a growing and ambitious business in Durham City Centre with the recruitment of a Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a well-established organisation during an exciting period of growth.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take responsibility for the financial management of multiple entities within the group, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance function. This role would suit a hands-on individual who enjoys both operational accounting and supporting a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts using Sage Line 50.
• Preparing year-end accounts across multiple group entities for submission to external accountants.
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and ensuring accurate asset records.
• Posting year-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
• Ensuring client and deposit accounts are fully reconciled and audit-ready.
