Finance Manager

Job Description Management Accountant /n Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire /n Reports to: Managing Director /n About the Role /n We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our growing manufacturing business. This is a varied role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, providing accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions and helping drive continuous improvement across the company. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n - Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports. /n - Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations. /n - Manage weekly supplier payment runs and bank reconciliations. /n - Oversee weekly payroll checks and monthly payroll reconciliations. /n - Prepare VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance. /n - Monitor cashflow, budgets and forecasts. /n - Calculate landed costs and support stock reporting. /n - Work closely with Sales, Production and Purchasing to support business performance. /n - Analyse financial data and provide insight to management. /n - Support year-end processes and continuous improvement initiatives. /n /n About You /n You will have previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role and be either AAT qualified, studying CIMA/ACCA, or qualified through experience. /n You'll also have: /n /n - Experience preparing management accounts. /n - Strong Excel and Sage (or similar accounting software) skills. /n - Payroll experience. /n - Excellent analytical and organisational skills. /n - Experience within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous. /n /n What We Offer /n /n - Competitive salary (dependent on experience). /n - Company pension. /n - On-site parking. /n - Supportive and friendly working environment. /n - Opportunity to make a real impact within a growing manufacturing business. /n /n
