Finance Manager

Equifind has partnered with one of Europe’s fastest-growing private debt investors to recruit a Finance Manager. This newly created role is based in their London office near Liverpool Street and will require in-office attendance 4 days per week.

With several billion dollars in assets under management, and a new £1bn fund about to launch focused on senior debt within UK real estate, it’s an exciting time to join as the business gears up for a busy period of transactions.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager will take ownership of all corporate reporting.

Key duties include

• Take ownership of the monthly close process for all group entities.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports including balance sheet maintenance.
• Preparation of annual budgets for the group and individual entities.
• Key point of contact for annual key elements of external financial audits across the group.
• Contributing to the improvement and development of financial controls, processes, and reporting.
• Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely management information.
• Assisting with the migration of data from legacy accounting systems to the group’s accounting software.

Key requirements

• ACA/CA qualified accountant, preferably trained in audit.
• A minimum of 5 years experience, ideally working within a group function.
• Prior experience of working with FCA or SEC regulated businesses.
• Advanced-level Excel skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting requirements.
• Proven stakeholder management experience and relationship building skills.

• £70-80,000 base salary.
