This hands-on leadership position is perfect for a qualified accountant who thrives in managing financial control, reporting, process improvement, and team leadership within a dynamic commercial environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the month-end close process and produce monthly management accounts.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, revenue recognition, accruals, and prepayments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Oversee invoicing, work-in-progress reviews, and project finance controls.
- Monitor cash flow, supplier payments, and credit control activities.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, payroll, pension, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls.
- Drive finance system enhancements and continuous process improvements.
- Manage and develop a small finance team while partnering with operational stakeholders across the business.
