Fire Protection Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer North West / UK & European Travel £42,500 + Paid Travel + Overtime We're working with a specialist contractor delivering complex fire protection, life safety and critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe. As work continues to grow, they're looking to add a Commissioning Engineer to the team. This role would suit somebody who enjoys understanding how systems interact, carrying out functional testing, fault finding and commissioning technically demanding projects through to handover. What you'll be doing Commissioning fire protection and life safety systems Functional testing and fault finding Cause & effect testing Working with integrated systems and multiple disciplines on site Supporting project delivery and final handover Travelling across the UK and EuropeWhat we're looking for Commissioning experience Strong fault-finding ability Experience working with electrical, mechanical or control systems A good understanding of system integration Happy travelling throughout the UK and EuropeDesirable Gas suppression experience Fire protection or life safety experience Data centre experience Room integrity testing Experience with Edwards, Gent or Notifier systemsPackage £42,500 basic salary Paid overtime (1.25x weekdays / Saturdays, 1.5x Sundays) Door-to-door travel paid UK and European project exposureThis is a great opportunity for somebody looking to move into a specialist area of commissioning and gain experience on larger, more technically complex projects
