We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to provide fire safety leadership and assurance across a national portfolio of facilities, including high-risk and nuclear environments. This is a senior, multi-site role with a significant focus on the Midlands and North West, so candidates based in these areas are preferred. You will work closely with Facilities, Engineering and operational teams to ensure robust fire safety standards, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage fire safety arrangements across multiple sites and contracts. * Develop and maintain fire safety policies, procedures and management systems. * Undertake fire safety inspections, audits and assurance activities. * Monitor and drive completion of fire safety actions and improvements. * Oversee fire detection, alarm and suppression systems and associated maintenance. * Lead fire drills, emergency exercises and fire safety training. * Provide fire safety advice on facilities, refurbishment, construction and engineering projects. * Ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation and relevant nuclear-sector requirements. * Provide fire safety reporting, advice and assurance to senior management. About You You will be an experienced Fire Safety Manager or senior Fire Safety professional with experience in facilities management and/or high-risk environments. Essential * NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate or equivalent. * NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma. * Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation. * Experience in fire safety management within a multi-site, facilities or high-risk environment. * Understanding of working within regulated or safety-critical environments. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable but not essential * Level 4 Fire Safety (Inspectors) qualification * IFE membership. * Nuclear-sector experience. * Experience supporting construction, refurbishment or engineering projects
