Competitive salary and genuine career progression with the opportunity to grow into a team-lead role as the London area expands.
Company van, fuel card, laptop and mobile phone for all work-related travel.
25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays, with an additional day for every 2 years' service (up to an additional 5 days by the 10-year mark).
A strong team culture within a brand that puts people first and values its engineers, giving you the support to do your best work.
Social events, training and a positive, professional working environment.
We are a family-owned, highly-accredited provider of fire safety and security solutions, delivering a full range of design, installation, servicing and maintenance across both fire and security systems.
We pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop for fire detection, suppression, intruder systems, CCTV, access control, structured cabling and more.
The Role - Fire & Security Engineer
You will join a growing team and cover the London area, servicing, maintaining and repairing fire and security systems for a trusted brand that prioritises engineers.
This is a field-based, hands-on position, focused on servicing and upkeep rather than full project installation.
Servicing and maintaining a wide range of fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV and access control equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing faults across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder and access control systems.
Carrying out routine inspections, preventative maintenance and compliance checks.
Ensuring all work is completed to current safety, compliance and accreditation standards.
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in the fire & security industry
Technical knowledge and hands-on experience across both fire alarm systems and security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control). Multi-skilled ability with a preference to specialise in one but competent in both.
SVQ Level 3 in Fire & Security (or equivalent qualification) is desirable.
Full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel around the London region (and potentially further as the area business grows).
Installation experience is welcome, but the primary focus is service and maintenance.
