Fire & Security Installation Engineer Location: Buckingham Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 DOE Full-Time | Permanent   *Open to applications from Trainee - Experienced*   We are currently recruiting for an experienced Installation / Service Engineer to join a growing Fire & Security business based in Buckingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in Fire & Security systems who is looking for a long-term position with a company that offers development, training and career progression.   The Role As an Installation / Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning and servicing a range of fire and security systems. The role will be predominantly installation-based, although some service work may be required depending on workload.   Key Responsibilities Install fire and security systems Install cabling and containment in accordance with BS7671 Programme and test newly installed devices Complete installation and commissioning documentation Carry out service work when required Liaise professionally with customers and other contractors Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle stock Report faults, failures or deficiencies to your line manager Maintain accurate monthly timesheets Attend training courses when required Supervise and mentor trainee engineers when required Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times Skills & Experience Required We are looking for someone with: Previous experience installing Fire & Security systems Strong understanding of electrical installation principles Knowledge of BS7671 Experience with cabling and containment Experience programming, testing and commissioning systems Ability to read and understand technical drawings Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good customer-facing and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A professional approach to work Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer? £32,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience Permanent position with a growing business Company vehicle Fuel card Overtime opportunities Full training and ongoing development Career progression opportunities Company tools and equipment Pension scheme Generous annual leave Supportive and professional working environment If you're an experienced Fire & Security Installation / Service Engineer looking for your next opportunity in the Buckingham area, we'd love to hear from you
