Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
M Group is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Water Division on the Anglian Water contract in Colchester. You'll work as part of a skilled team delivering engineering solutions across the water treatment sector.
Day to day you'll assemble and fit mechanical components from engineering drawings along with carrying outbasic steel and plastic fabrication.
You'll prepare, build, and adapt assets to specification and monitor build progress and support project delivery deadlines.
We'll need you to maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels along with completinginstallation, commissioning, and service activities on and off site.
This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical fitting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
You must be willing to travel across various sites throughout East Anglia.
What youll bring Do you have proven experience in a mechanical or engineering environment?
Do you hold a Full UK Driving Licence?
Have you gained Fabrication and welding experience- This is desirable
Preferred previousworking knowledge of water and wastewater treatmentassets
