Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for an Fitter x2 on a 3 month contract based in Scotland. Role Summary The successful candidates will carry out equipment installation and earthing works on a substation project, working as part of the site fitting team to deliver works safely, to programme, and to a high standard of workmanship. Key Responsibilities • Carry out GIS equipment installation works in line with drawings and specifications • Install and terminate earthing systems on substation plant and equipment • Support wider substation installation activities • Carry out work at height in line with site procedures • Apply safe manual handling techniques at all times • Complete work in line with site health & safety procedures and RAMS • Liaise with the site supervisor/foreman on daily work allocation and progress Requirements • CSCS card • Experience in GIS equipment installation • Experience in earthing works • Substation experience • Work at height training • Manual handling training • Must operate via a LTD company • Right to work in the UK Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
